I’m Ruben Celis, and I’ve been sailing with Saeftinghe for the past few years as a crew member. While studying Nautical Science at the Antwerp Maritime Academy, I decided to get more involved into our family project and deepen myself into sailing. Recently, I obtained my ‘STCW Master Commercial Yachting’ certification to become a captain on Saeftinghe.
Starting in March, I’m very excited to take over several weeks as captain. Together with an amazing crew, we’ll make it an unforgettable time on board.
In the future, I hope to spend even more time at sea to share my passion with as many people as possible. Discovering different parts of the world while continuing to grow as both a sailor and a person is what makes it so exciting
My goal: to sail around the world, visit all continents and grow Arruno exploration to reach more people.
