Looking back on Saeftinghe in’t Groen, an evening full of encounters, inspiration and adventure
On Saturday 18 October, no fewer than 150 participants gathered in the green heart of Herenthout for a special evening ashore. Saeftinghe in’t Groen brought crew members, former sailors and new faces together for a warm reunion, a breath of fresh air, fascinating stories and a great appetite for new adventures.

With snacks, drinks and the warmth of fire baskets, the evening continued to grow into a cosy get-together. The highlight was the screening of our new aftermovie about Svalbard, followed by a preview of the programme for 2026, including:
And yes: we are returning to the Far North!
