The Harbour Festival during the Ascension weekend offers a unique maritime experience with numerous activities including markets, music performances, walks, exhibitions and lifeboat tours. The free event attracts Blankenbergen residents and tourists alike and caters to people of all ages and interests, including water sports enthusiasts and foodies looking to enjoy delicious fresh seafood. This year, around 30 vessels, including T/S Saeftinghe, will participate in Sail 2023 in Blankenberge, which is a great honour for the city. The Northsea Folk & Shanty Festival is expanding with an extra day dedicated to "Folk music from all over the world". Come and enjoy the maritime atmosphere and conviviality on the quay walls around the harbour. Sailing ship Saeftinghe is a two-master and a participant in the Tall Ships Races 2023 and can be admired during the event.
