The largest maritime festival on the North Sea will take place from 1 to 4 June 2023. Ostend at Anchor gathers sailing historic ships from various North Sea and Channel ports and highlights the maritime heritage of our region and Europe but also focuses on innovative techniques at sea.

Short introduction of the event

Ostend at Anchor, the largest maritime festival for authentic shipping and the North Sea, will definitely continue to take place in the Ostend docks until 2026. The free-to-attend festival attracts 150,000 visitors annually and aims to recognise and celebrate maritime heritage. It offers a diverse range of educational and fun activities and is easily accessible to visitors. New this year is the focus on innovation at sea in the Blue Innovation Village.
