Saeftinghe will soon go for a well-deserved maintenance and the installation of a new generator in Harlingen. But before we entrust her to the shipyard, we will make a great voyage of it for 5 days! We have a choice: we can sail along the picturesque English coast or the beautiful Dutch coast, heading to the enchanting Wadden Islands and finally to picturesque Harlingen where the shipyard is.

Our programme during this tour

Embarkation

Embarkation will take place in Ostend at the Mercatormarina on Tuesday evening 10/10/2023. You are welcome from 7pm. On board, we provide a small meal around 19:30.

The programme

Our itinerary depends not only on our preference, but also on the whims of Mother Nature. We will carefully monitor the meteo and will be able to choose between two routes.

Route 1: Via the East Coast of England If the weather gods are kind to us, we will visit England's East Coast (River Orwell or Lowestoft). This means that a valid passport is an absolute must. In this case, we will even sail overnight before crossing our North Sea.

Route 2: The Dutch Coast In another weather situation, we choose Dutch coast. This route offers the opportunity to call at ports like Scheveningen, IJmuiden and Den Helder.

Along the way, there is a chance to visit one of the charming Wadden harbours before we set our final course towards picturesque Harlingen.

Disembarkation

Disembarkation is scheduled for Sunday afternoon 15/10/2023 in Harlingen. You can easily return home by train or possibly car-sharing.

Who is this trip for?

Whether you are a seasoned sailor or have never sailed the sea before, this trip is suitable for everyone. During a night trip, our experienced watch captain will take you through all that life on board encompasses and walk watch with you.

This trip is full board!

Full board with Arruno Exploration includes the following:

Welcome on board
Accommodation on board based on 2 persons per room. A room consists of 2 single beds (bunk beds) with private bathroom or shared bathroom facilities.
Breakfast
Light lunch
Dinner
Water, coffee and tea à volonté
Service captain and two crew members
Use of safety equipment
Use of the ship for the purposes described in the programme (mooring fees, fuel costs, maintenance, insurance, etc.)
