Embarkation

T/S Saeftinghe will be ready for you in Bergen, Norway. Embarkation is scheduled on Saturday 5 September 2026 from 17:00 onwards.
This week-long voyage is open to everyone – an ideal way to get acquainted with sailing and to experience Norway’s nature in an Out Of The Ordinary way.

Our Program

During this inspiring sailing trip we will explore the region around Bergen. Depending on wind and weather we choose our adventure: sailing inland, deep into the fjords in search of hidden gems and quiet anchorages – or heading out to sea, where islands, rugged coastlines and lively fishing villages await us.
We sail only day passages and each evening we moor in a harbour or anchor in a sheltered bay. This gives us the time to experience nature, relax and enjoy the simplicity of life on board.

The voyage ends in Bergen, Norway, on Saturday morning 12 September 2026 after breakfast.

For whom is this trip suitable?

With our voyages, we aim to introduce beginners to sailing and the ocean on the one hand, and experienced sailors who want to do something different on the other. But of course, not every trip is the same... That's why we distinguish between heaviness and effort. That way you have an idea of what you can, should and should expect.

This trip has 1 iceberg and is sailed in day trips.

These voyages are open to everyone. We sail exclusively day passages, without overnight crossings. In the evenings we moor safely in a harbour or drop anchor in a quiet bay. The program remains flexible: in case of less favourable weather we look for an alternative together. Perfect for those who want to get acquainted with sailing, or simply enjoy a relaxed yet adventurous stay on board. One iceberg stands for low-threshold adventure, where discovery and enjoyment are at the heart of the experience.

What is included in Full Board?

• Welcome on board
• Accommodation on board based on 2 persons per room. A room consists of 2 single beds (bunk beds) with shared washroom.
• Breakfast, Light lunch, Dinner
• Water, coffee and tea à volonté
• Performance captain and one crew member
• Use of safety equipment
• Use of the ship for the purposes described in the programme (mooring fees, fuel costs, maintenance, insurance,...)
• Bed and bath linen

What are the extras?

• Travel and accommodation costs other than on board
• Transfers from or to the port of arrival or the port of departure
• Excursions if not mentioned in the programme
• Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages
• Communication costs
