Embarkation

T/S Saeftinghe will again be waiting for you in Tromsø, Norway. Embarkation is on Sunday evening 8 November 2026 from 17:00 onwards.

Our Program

As the nights grow longer, Tromsø and its surrounding islands reveal their most magical side. Over six days we sail fjords and islands in search of orcas and whales. Sometimes at anchor, sometimes alongside a quay – but always with the chance to watch the Northern Lights dance above us. The itinerary remains deliberately flexible so that wind and weather guide our course, making every voyage Out Of The Ordinary.

Disembarkation

Disembarkation is on Saturday morning 14 November 2026 after breakfast in Tromsø.

For whom is this trip suitable?

With our voyages, we aim to introduce beginners to sailing and the ocean on the one hand, and experienced sailors who want to do something different on the other. But of course, not every trip is the same... That's why we distinguish between heaviness and effort. That way you have an idea of what you can, should and should expect.

This trip has 1 iceberg. This trip is sailed in day trips.

These voyages are open to everyone. We sail exclusively day passages, without overnight crossings. In the evenings we moor safely in a harbour or drop anchor in a quiet bay. The program remains flexible: in case of less favourable weather we look for an alternative together. Perfect for those who want to get acquainted with sailing, or simply enjoy a relaxed yet adventurous stay on board. One iceberg stands for low-threshold adventure, where discovery and enjoyment are at the heart of the experience.

What is included in Full Board?

• Welcome on board
• Accommodation on board based on 2 persons per room. A room consists of 2 single beds (bunk beds) with shared washroom.
• Breakfast, Light lunch, Dinner
• Water, coffee and tea à volonté
• Performance captain and one crew member
• Use of safety equipment
• Use of the ship for the purposes described in the programme (mooring fees, fuel costs, maintenance, insurance,...)
• Bed and bath linen

What are the extras?

• Travel and accommodation costs other than on board
• Transfers from or to the port of arrival or the port of departure
• Excursions if not mentioned in the programme
• Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages
