Summer Delivery/Sailing Trip Part 2: From Bodø (Noorway) to Aarhus (Denemark) Inspire

Our programme during this trip

Embarkation

T/S Saeftinghe will be waiting for you in Bodø. You will receive the exact berth a few days before departure.
Embarkation is scheduled for Saturday 30 May 2026 from 5 p.m.
You can choose to sail the entire trip to Aarhus (3 weeks) or to participate for one or more weeks. If you opt for a shorter period, you will receive the correct port of embarkation and disembarkation a few days before departure.

The programme

This summer sailing trip follows the Norwegian coast from north to south during the midnight sun period. The days are endless, the temperatures pleasant and life on board rhythmic and full of light.
We leave Bodø and sail south through fjords and archipelagos, with plenty of opportunities for day trips, anchorages and lively harbours. As we descend further south, you will experience the transition from Arctic Norway to the wide Skagerrak and the Danish coast.

Whether you choose one week or the entire route, you will be part of the crew: sailing, navigating and experiencing life at sea together. Along the way, you will discover the power of teamwork, adventure and the extraordinary rhythm of summer at sea.

A special highlight awaits at the end: during the last week of the trip, we will moor in Aarhus, just in time to witness the start of the Tall Ships Races 2026. Participants on this leg will stay in Aarhus for a few days and can enjoy a close-up view of the ocean giants gathering for this iconic sailing competition.

Disembarkation

The trip ends in Aarhus, Denmark, on Wednesday morning, 24 June 2026, for those who are travelling the entire route.
Participants who are joining for one or more weeks will receive the exact port of disembarkation a few days in advance.

Who is this trip for?

Our trips are aimed at both beginners who want to learn everything about sailing and life on the ocean, as well as experienced sailors who want to try something different. But of course, not every trip is the same... That's why we distinguish between different levels of difficulty and effort. This gives you an idea of what you can, should and can expect.

This trip has 2 icebergs because there is a possibility that we will occasionally sail through the night.

Here you embark on a real sailing adventure. We may plan crossings that can take one night. The trips require a little more flexibility and perseverance, but they remain achievable for those who are open to new experiences. Two icebergs represent adventure with a touch of challenge: the first real step towards the Arctic feeling.

What is included in Full Board?

• Welcome on board
• Accommodation on board based on 2 persons per room. A room consists of 2 single beds (bunk beds) with shared washroom.
• Breakfast, Light lunch, Dinner
• Water, coffee and tea à volonté
• Performance captain and one crew member
• Use of safety equipment
• Use of the ship for the purposes described in the programme (mooring fees, fuel costs, maintenance, insurance,...)
• Bed and bath linen

What are the extras?

• Travel and accommodation costs other than on board
• Transfers from or to the port of arrival or the port of departure
• Excursions if not mentioned in the programme
• Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages
