Winter Delivery/Sailing Trip: from the North Sea to Arctic Norway, Ostend to Tromsø Inspire

Our programme during this trip

Embarkation

Embarkation is on Sunday 25 January 2026 from 7 p.m. in Ostend.
You can choose to sail the entire 5 weeks from Belgium to Tromsø, or to participate for one or more weeks. If you participate for a shorter period, you will receive the exact port of departure four days before departure, depending on our route and weather conditions.

The programme

This winter sailing trip takes us from Ostend via the North Sea to the rugged Norwegian coast. Depending on weather conditions, we will start with a non-stop crossing so that we can reach Norway comfortably and efficiently.
Once on the coast, we will head north in stages, passing fjords, islands and picturesque harbours. Step by step, we will make our way to Arctic Norway, far beyond the Arctic Circle.

Participants who opt for a week (or several weeks) will sail on a route between two consecutive ports. The exact embarkation and disembarkation locations will be confirmed a few days in advance.

Disembarkation

The voyage ends on Saturday morning, 28 February 2026, in Tromsø, Norway, for those sailing the full 5 weeks.
For participants who are only joining for one or more weeks, the port of disembarkation will be agreed a few days in advance.

For whom is this trip suitable?

With our voyages, we aim to introduce beginners to sailing and the ocean on the one hand, and experienced sailors who want to do something different on the other. But of course, not every trip is the same... That's why we distinguish between heaviness and effort. That way you have an idea of what you can, should and should expect.

This trip has 3 icebergs

This trip includes longer crossings of 2 days and possibly more. Trips characterised by 3 icebergs are only suitable for boarders who have done a 1 or 2 iceberg trip before or can demonstrate experience. There is a real chance of ending up in less comfortable conditions here. However, this kind of trip is always a unique and beautiful achievement.

What is included in Full Board?

• Welcome on board
• Accommodation on board based on 2 persons per room. A room consists of 2 single beds (bunk beds) with shared washroom.
• Breakfast, Light lunch, Dinner
• Water, coffee and tea à volonté
• Performance captain and one crew member
• Use of safety equipment
• Use of the ship for the purposes described in the programme (mooring fees, fuel costs, maintenance, insurance,...)
• Bed and bath linen

What are the extras?

• Travel and accommodation costs other than on board
• Transfers from or to the port of arrival or the port of departure
• Excursions if not mentioned in the programme
• Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages
• Communication costs
• Appropriate clothing and footwear
• Costs for excursions, restaurant,... if not specifically mentioned in the programme.
