Embarkation

Step on board in Harlingen, the Netherlands, on 5 July. After the lively Crew Parade and festivities you meet your fellow trainees and prepare for the voyage south.

Programme

During this relaxed Cruise in Company you sail in flotilla style together with many international tall ships. Along the way there are stopovers in welcoming ports and opportunities for cultural exchanges and joint activities. Arrival in Antwerp is scheduled for 11 July, marking the start of the city’s harbour celebrations and crew events.

Disembarkation

We arrive in Antwerp, Belgium, on 11 July. After the lively Crew Parade and festivities you disembark in the morning of 13 July, taking with you the unique memories of sailing in company.

For whom is this trip suitable?

On each voyage you will see one to three icebergs. This is our way of showing how demanding or challenging a trip will be. The more icebergs, the more action, longer sailing days and less comfort. One iceberg means an easier trip, while three icebergs stand for an intensive challenge.

A journey full of fun and discovery.

The Cruise in Company is our 1-iceberg voyage: accessible, social and perfect as a first introduction. You sail in flotilla style together with other ships, discover welcoming ports along the way and enjoy plenty of culture and friendship. Less demanding than a race, but just as rich in new experiences and connections.

What is included in Full Board?

• Welcome on board
• Accommodation on board based on 2 persons per room. A room consists of 2 single beds (bunk beds) with shared washroom.
• Breakfast, Light lunch, Dinner
• Water, coffee and tea à volonté
• Performance captain and one crew member
• Use of safety equipment
• Use of the ship for the purposes described in the programme (mooring fees, fuel costs, maintenance, insurance,...)

👉 Specific for Sail Training: participants are required to bring their own duvet cover, pillowcase, mattress cover and toiletries.

What are the extras?

• Travel and accommodation costs other than on board
• Transfers from or to the port of arrival or the port of departure
• Excursions if not mentioned in the programme
• Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages
• Communication costs
• Appropriate clothing and footwear
• Costs for excursions, restaurant,... if not specifically mentioned in the programme.
