These voyages are open to everyone. We only sail day passages, without any night crossings. In the evening we moor in a harbor or drop anchor in a sheltered bay. The program remains flexible: if the weather turns, we can easily switch to another activity. Perfect for anyone who wants to experience sailing for the first time, or simply enjoy a relaxed but adventurous stay on board. One iceberg stands for low-threshold adventure, where discovery and enjoyment come first.
2 icebergs – Overnight passages & Arctic feeling
Here you step into a real sailing adventure. We include crossings that may take one night, or we sail in the High North – such as the Isfjorden in Svalbard – where rescue facilities exist, but are often not immediately accessible. These voyages require more flexibility and perseverance, but they remain very doable for those open to new experiences. Two icebergs stand for adventure with a hint of challenge: the first real step into the Arctic spirit.
3 icebergs – Ocean crossings & remote Arctic regions
Our most demanding category. These voyages include longer passages of several days up to weeks at sea, or take place in remote Arctic regions where rescue is not guaranteed and we rely mostly on ourselves. Here we expect a certain mindset and, preferably, previous sailing experience. Mindset is just as important as experience: living together on board, supporting and trusting each other, and adapting to the rhythm of ship and nature. At times uncomfortable, always intense and unforgettable. Three icebergs stand for the ultimate “Out Of The Ordinary”: an achievement, an adventure and a memory for life.
