Our programme during this trip

Embarkation 

T/S Saeftinghe will berth in Ostend at its normal berth in the Mercator dock.

Embarkation will take place in Ostend on Friday evening 26/04/2024 around 19:00. We will provide a welcome drink and a light dinner.

The programme

On Saturday morning we will leave after breakfast and choose a destination depending on the weather and wind conditions.

If all goes well, we can go up and down to Ramsgate (England) but this chance is rather on the small side.

Disembarkation

Disembarkation is scheduled for Sunday evening 28/04/2024 in Ostend.

For whom is this intended?

Whether you have extensive sailing experience or want to get familiar with sailing at sea for the first time, this trip offers an extraordinary experience for everyone.

On board, the captain and two experienced crew members work closely together the participants Your individual capacities and interests are key in the way you will be involved in navigation and daily operations on the ship.

This trip is ideally suited for those who want to refine their sailing skills but also for beginners who want to take a first step into the world of sailing.

What is included in the daily rate?

• Welcome on board
• Accommodation on board based on 2 persons per room. A room consists of 2 single beds (bunk beds) with private bathroom or shared bathroom facilities
• Water, coffee and tea à volonté
• Performance captain and crew (depending on the tour and participants)
• Use of safety equipment
• Use of the ship for the purposes described in the programme (fuel costs, maintenance, insurance, etc.) excluding berth fees.

What is extra?

• Travel and accommodation costs other than on board
• Transfers from or to the port of arrival or the port of departure
• Disembarkation if not mentioned in the programme
• Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages 
• All meals (whether or not on board)
• Communication costs
• Adapted clothing and footwear
• Costs for excursions, restaurant,... if not specifically mentioned in the programme.
