On 9 September, our exciting journey begins! By September 23, we will normally walk into Antwerp. But these dates represent more than just a calendar period; they mark the beginning of an extraordinary experience. Our journey revolves around one crucial lesson: learning to work together.
Collaboration will be the backbone of our journey. As a close-knit group of 11 motivated students from the Antwerp Maritime Academy, we will be constantly challenged to work together in the dynamic environment of a sailing ship. It is not just a matter of learning how to hoist and navigate the sails, but also how to communicate effectively, join forces and take responsibility for safety, the well-being of the ship and the success of our voyage.
